Until January 25, 2017 you can still register for F & G Connection 2017!

After that we can not guarantee hotel room.

On Thursday February 16, you can enter from 13:00 and start networking immediately. At 13.30 the program will start.

The Thursday afternoon theme is "Farewell to the genomics era"

First Bram van der Waaij, senior researcher Sensor IT @ RIP, will take us into the world of Internet of Things, Sensors & Big Data. `

Rick van de Zedde, senior researcher / business developer Computer Vision @ Wageningen Research, will discuss precision phenotyping and opportunities for geneticists.

Furthermore, the business community will reflect on what Big Data & Digital Transformation means for their business and R & D agenda.

We end the afternoon with an interactive activity before starting the evening program, while enjoying a snack and drink.

We are delighted that we can announce a new program component for Friday morning. In the F & G Connection week, the spring school EGSABG- emerging technologies in animal breeding and genomics- takes place. PhD students receive the assignment to design a breeding program of the future based on the emerging technologies. On Friday morning they will pitch their designs and we, as F & G Connection, can provide feedback.

Afterwards, (young!) Researchers bring new or deeper insights into the limelight. We invite you to lobby us to get your subject on the program!

The program ends Friday with a lunch.
