Food & Cognition 

In the EFRO Cluster- and Network project Food & Cognition, the knowledge institutes and sectors
Food and Health are intensively engaged in order to build a regional network and valorisation
program, combining forces and generating a supply of (SME) products- and solutions. This
offers an important contribution to public health, as well as the economic value of food and
interventions related to eating behavior. The cluster herewith offers the SME partners in
Gelderland (NL) the opportunity to be successful in a larger playing field and to take the lead.

Besides, the consortium partners want to position the region East Netherlands as thé
Innovation Hub in the field of Food & Cognition. The consortium makes a strong point
in order to develop joint use- and business cases and to realise more consistency in the
relation with- and the business offer of a large number of companies in Food and Life
Sciences, Creative Industry, HTSM and ICT sectors.
