Many consumers lack relevant knowledge in order to make healthy and tasteful food choices. The Internet and Social Media provide generic and generalized food-related information, which misfits the consumer’s personal situation. In this project, the concept ‘Personalized information for healthy food choice behavior’ has been elaborated. This project aims to help consumers in making healthy, safe and inspiring food choices, by providing information relating to the consumer’s personal needs at a certain point in time.
